Reiki

Private Reiki Treatment

Channeling the profound healing energies within the Usui lineage, these online reiki healing sessions offer clients a journey into profound relaxation, both externally and internally, facilitating the release of stress on expansive dimensions. Commencing with a thoughtful exchange at the session’s onset, we delve into the currents of the client’s current state and their aspirations for the forthcoming Reiki experience. Rooted in the venerable Japanese tradition, Reiki emerges as a transformative force, capable of ushering in detoxification, stress alleviation, relaxation, and fortification of our immune system. Acknowledging the pervasive impact of trapped stress and discomfort within our corporeal vessels, we recognize its potential to foment tension, disharmony, and malaise. Healing unfolds through the practitioner’s gentle touch, whether directly on the body or slightly above, offering an immersive experience that nurtures, revitalizes, and harmonizes the trinity of body, mind, and breath. This synergistic communion brings about an elevated state of existence across the physical, mental, and emotional realms. The deliberate intention behind the practice serves to realign and harmonize, fostering an equilibrium that resonates as a harmonious symphony. Clients emerge from these online reiki healing sessions not merely rested, but profoundly tranquil, endowed with newfound clarity regarding matters that demand their attention. A pervasive ease settles upon their lives, creating a serene tapestry woven with threads of balance, understanding, and harmonious living. The culmination of each session is marked by a reflective dialogue, wherein we unravel the tapestry of experiences and insights unveiled during the appointment. This post-session discourse serves as a compass, guiding the client in comprehending and processing the intricate revelations bestowed upon them by the practitioner.

Pranayama
Breathwork

Pranayama breathing techniques have been practiced for centuries in various cultures and are an integral part of many ancient traditions, including yoga. These techniques not only improve physical health but also promote mental and emotional well-being. By regulating the breath, we can tap into the powerful mind-body connection and cultivate a sense of inner peace and tranquility. Regular practice of pranayama can enhance our ability to focus, reduce stress and anxiety, and promote a deeper sense of self-awareness. Moreover, these techniques can be adapted to suit different fitness levels and can be practiced anywhere, making them an accessible and convenient way to enhance overall well-being. The beauty of pranayama lies in its simplicity and versatility. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced practitioner, these breathing exercises can be tailored to your specific needs and goals, making them a valuable addition to any wellness routine. This class is designed to learn various pranayama breathing techniques that help us to create an uplifted way of feeling and living. Pranayama boosts our energy, focus, immune system, and moods. It detoxifies our lungs, kidneys, and adrenal glands. It can help reduce anger, and frustration in a positive way. It gently increases our core strength. And it expands our lung capacity by flushing out trapped CO2 by replacing it with fresh oxygen. This is a wonderful practice for anyone needing to build vital organs into a healthier state. If one is suffering from an injury or illness and cannot practice asana/yoga postures, or their usual workout regimen, mindfulness of the breath increases our chi/energy and healing. Pranayama breathing techniques also a wonderful practice in preparing our minds for meditation. At the end of class we are calm, tuned into body/mind and inspired. It leaves us feeling much like we feel after we practice yoga or working out.

Yoga
Lineages

Hatha Yoga

Hatha Yoga, is the foundation of all lineages. It is the first syle of yoga practice from which all other styles derive from. It is a great practice for beginners or advanced. The word Ha means sun and Ta means moon. It is a more gentle approach on asanas(poses) and pranayama(breathing) combined to achieve balance and harmony with mind, body and spirit. There is more emphasis on alignment within each posture much like Iyengar lineage. This helps us to ensure a good, strong practice within each posture before advancing to more challenging practices.

Restorative Yoga

Restorative Yoga, is a deeply relaxing and very gentle form of yoga where props(bolsters, blankets, blocks) are used to support our bodies to help us unwind physically, mentally, emotionally and energetically. We hold postures for longer periods of time while deep breathing to release tension and tightness trapped in our bodies. Restorative yoga helps us on mental and emotional levels in profound ways by reducing anxiety, depression, overthinking, and releasing stress energy that prohibits our ability to heal and let go of what is not serving us well. We feel spacious, grounded, calm and at peace with this type of practice with a better understanding of how and where we can create more positive changes internally and externally.

Slow Flow Yoga

Slow Flow Yoga is slightly more challenging, but also a great practice for beginners or advanced. This style of practice we move slowly from one posture to the next while holding postures for longer periods of time to build strength, flexibility, and mobility. Mindfully moving to build more awareness to our breathing, how we get into each posture, how we hold the posture, where our minds go when holding the pose, and bringing mind, body, breath united throughout our practice. Alignment cues are offered in postures to help us have longevity in our practice. We feel stronger, grounded, courageous and more in tune with ourselves and life all around us. This style of practice really helps us to bring mindfulness off of our mats and into our everyday experiences in the outside world.
